Stock assessments conducted in 2007 for the period 2004-2006 revealed overfishing in some years (2004) against management indicators (Lc50/ Lm50 in conjunction with F/M) while in more recent years these had not been exceeded but were borderline (reported to BSFC). YPR models at a finer spatial are recommended.
