Spawner biomass per recruit models, Yield -per -recruit models

Catches (2009): 5t, % change from preceding year: - 66 % . An operational management procedure has been established for the evaluation of all linefish stocks identifying biological reference points for classification of stock status, preferred stock assessment models given paucity of data (Spawner biomass per recruit models) and assessment review period based on half life span of the species (Griffiths, et al., 1999). Most species show substantial declines in CPUE, and stock assessments on selected species (Yield -per -recruit models – management reference points utilize SB/R) indicate below threshold of SB/R<25%, thus collapsed status. Measure of abundance: CPUE and SB/R.
